On the blog this week I am going to share all my favorite Christmas tree decorations along with some decorations that coordinate with the look. Two different types of Christmas tree style. Typically in my home have more than one tree. One Christmas tree is for the presents. This tree is pretty and perfectly decorated! The other tree is the family tree. My kiddos decorate that tree from top to bottom. They love decorating the family Christmas tree! They take so much pride in finding all their own ornaments and placing them just right.
The first Christmas tree look is a navy and green plaid! This is the look of my tree I did last year and this year as well. I will add a little more gold and sparkle to this year’s tree. Adding new ornaments every year to the same look will make it feel like new while adding more layers. Below are the picks for the navy and green plaid Christmas tree along with some decorative items. The next look is light blue and chic! This look is less traditional than the navy and green plaid look. I did add a windowpane throw blanket to get that traditional mix. Throw pillows can add a big impact! Antelope print throw pillow mixed with smoke blue velvet throw pillow adds the element of Christmas chic. Using a glitter branch such as below adds depth. Build layers to visual interest. Shop the links below to get this look.
